Norwich University’s School of Nursing offers Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree programs. Registered Nurses (RNs) can earn their MSN degree online in eighteen months.

Students can choose from two areas of specialization:

  • Nursing Administration
  • Nursing Education

Applicants to the MSN program are required to have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from a nationally (NLNAC/ACEN or CCNE) accredited nursing program. They must have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale. Candidates must have completed undergraduate courses in Statistics and Nursing Research. Students must hold an active unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse in their state of practice.

The University of VermontCollege of Nursing and Health Sciences

The College of Nursing and Health Sciences at The University of Vermont offers Master of Science in Nursing degree programs in several specializations:

  • Adult Nurse Practitioner
  • Family Nurse Practitioner
  • Clinical Nurse Leader

Applicants to the program are required to hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited institution with a GPA of at least 3.0. Students must have completed courses in Statistics and Physical Assessment. They must submit scores from the Graduate Record Examination (GRE). Candidates must hold a license or be eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse in Vermont.
